The Mission of the Saint Anne Parish Faith Formation Program is to reach out to all the members of the parish community. We commit ourselves to preserving the Catholic Family and recognize parents as the primary religious educators of their children. Our goal is to foster an environment in which people can come to know Jesus Christ through Eucharist, Scripture and Church teaching.
We commit ourselves to provide parents and families with the information, equipment and tools they need to pass on the experience of a living faith to their children. As our parish programs grow and develop, we strive to continue to focus on the importance of family as the center of faith growth and development. We encourage families to fully participate in the life of the parish through involvement in experiences of Worship, Service and Fellowship -- classroom instruction rests upon the foundation of these three key components of our Faith Formation Program.
Worship: Students are required to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.
The Eucharist is the “source and summit” of the Christian life; therefore, weekly attendance at Mass for all grades is essential for understanding what is being taught in Faith Formation sessions.
Service: Students of all ages are invited and encouraged to participate in service projects and activities which benefit either their parish community or the community-at-large.
Fellowship: Students are invited and encouraged to engage in activities during the year designed to build fellowship among members of the Saint Anne Parish community. Fellowship activities include, but are not limited to, retreats, youth ministry events, parish events, etc.
