Pastoral Council

By universal and particular Church law Parish Pastoral Council together with the Parish Finance Council is the primary consultative body to the pastor as he leads the parish community in discerning the present and future parish direction. The Council assists the pastor in his leadership role by planning, organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating, and reviewing the activities within the parish. The Council assesses the needs of the parish and its members and develops and implements a pastoral plan to promote a common good. It fosters unity and a sense of community within the parish and coordinates parish activities in a manner that best serves the community.

Any confirmed parish member 18 years or older and active in one of the church’s ministries is eligible. The pastor appoints a member of the Youth Group of the parish and occasionally others.

Meetings are held 7:30-9:00PM on the second Tuesday of each month. Parishioners are invited to attend all open meetings.
