Music Ministry
Music ministry is an integral part of our liturgical celebration. It enhances and at times proclaims God’s Word and assists us in praising God in Eucharist and other Sacraments.
Adult Mixed Choir: The Adult Mixed Choir sings with instrumental accompaniment at the 9:30 AM Mass or other special occasions. High school age student and adults who like to sing and/or play an instrument are eligible. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evening at 7:00 PM in the church.
Women’s Choir: High school age women and older are eligible. Rehearsals are one Wednesday evening a month. They sing at one 9:30 AM Mass a month.
Gregorian Men’s Group: High school age men and older are eligible. Rehearsals are one Wednesday evening a month. They sing once a month at the 8:00 AM liturgy.
Children’s Choir: The Children’s Choir sings about once a month at the 4:00 PM Mass. Rehearsals are on Thursday evening from 6:15 – 7:00 PM in the church. All children ages 7-12 are welcome. Sue Quigley is the contact for this group.
Vocalists and Instrumentalists are welcome to join others in raising a joyful noise to the Lord by providing and leading music at the 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM Masses.
Music Ministry @ 11:30AM Mass: This music ministry group generally sings at the 11:30AM Mass. Reading of music is not essential. Rehearsals are at 10:45AM before the 11:30AM Mass. There are no other time commitments. Singers and/or instrumentalists from ages 12 through adult and seniors are invited and are always welcome. Claudette Levesque is the contact for this group.
