Baptism

"For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ."  (Galatians 3:27)

How greatly blessed are we who have been configured to Christ Jesus in His life/passion/death/Resurrection!  Can we ever fully grasp or appreciate what it means to become adopted sons and daughters of God in Christ?  Wow!  Our lives have infinite promise!  Our identity has been firmly fixed in a permanent fashion in Him who is fashioning us!  Jesus, the Savior of the world!  Let us rejoice with all our hearts in being made members of the Universal Family of God that is the Church.  Amen.

Baptismal Catechesis

Baptismal Catechesis is the process in which families receive instruction in preparation for the Sacrament of Baptism for their children. Preparation consists of an evening of: Welcoming, faith sharing, scripture, education, and an examination of the signs and symbols of the Sacrament of Baptism. 

Please make an appointment for the Baptismal preparation class through Kay Murphy at 329-5886. Preparation classes meet the last Monday of every month from 7:00PM until 8:30PM, unless otherwise noted in the parish bulletin. Attendance and participation in a Baptismal Preparation Class is an expectation prior to scheduling a date for Baptism. Baptisms are held the 2nd Sunday of the month at 12:30 PM unless otherwise noted in the parish bulletin.
