Anointing of the Sick

"They brought to Him all the sick, those afflicted with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, and paralytics and he healed them."  (Matthew 4:24)

The tender compassion of Jesus knows no limit.  Jesus never wants us to think He is indifferent to our sufferings or absent when we are in pain.  The Divine Physician wants to bless us in all of our afflictions with His loving touch.  Let us reach out to Jesus in our sicknesses and may we never see any kind of illness as a barrier between us and the Good Lord.  Amen.

Saint Anne’s offers Communal Celebrations for the Anointing of the Sick in the late spring or early Fall or at other times by appointment.  It is recommended that anyone who has an extended illness or other serious medical condition is strongly encouraged to contact the parish office to make arrangements to received this sacrament
